Nativity, Ofsted Report and Carols

This final full week of the year has been another jam-packed one. We began with the KS1 Nativity performances and they were enjoyable to watch. Well done to all those who took part and for the staff for organising it.

The school then got permission to go public with our recent Ofsted inspection and I was thrilled to be able to finally share the fabulous outcome with everybody. It has been hard to keep quiet about it. Hopefully, you can all see how wonderful Homefield is and how lucky we are that our children attend here and I am including myself in that.

The KS2 Carol Concert was an absolute joy to witness. Some of the solo efforts were chorister standard and the rendition of Silent Night incorporating a verse in German was highly moving. Thank you for those pupils who returned in the evening; there is something very special about carol evenings. As a result, I hope many of you will accompany us to St. Nicholas' Church on Tuesday 18th December for the Family Carol Concert.

Do not forget Tuesday is also Christmas jumper and party day. This year the children do not need to bring any food in.

Have a refreshing and relaxing weekend everyone.
