Big thank you to all parents for coming in to share in our pupil-led event RSR Day!
Today, we hosted our final Read, Share and Review Day of the year...however, this time it was for the whole school to enjoy. Thank you to all those parents who visited. We hope you saw how much progress and wonderful work the pupils have completed.
Well done to the House Captains for showing the parents politely to their requested classes.
As always, we valued your feedback and will endeavour to implement changes that we feel can make these sessions even better to maintain their impact and freshness. RSR sessions are the length they are to enable parents with more than one child the chance to see each child equally, but parents with a single child can arrive later if that is more suitable and convenient to them.
Some constructive and positive comments we received:
"I really enjoyed it, as it was nice to see my daughter's work."
"Nice to come into see the work; perhaps we could do some group activities next time."
"Good to see the work books, as I do not get time to see it all on parents' evenings."
"Great to pop into the class."
"Very welcoming and great to see the politeness of the Year 6 children."
"It is thoughtful to see other children given activities to do if their parents are unable to attend."
