Scorching weather week ends with a Year 6 trip to Pleasurewood Hills
This week has seen some beautiful weather for the children to experience. Please remember thought to put sun-screen on the children and ensure they come to school wearing a sun hat and have their water bottle with them.
Attendance this week was won by Year 1 with 99.33% and Harriers won the Team Points.
A fantastic netball result for the Years' 5 & 6 team over Moorlands. Well done to all players for their determination and commitment.
The new Reception Parents' Evening went well and it was lovely to see so many in attendance and choosing our school to send their children to. As always, we will endeavour to provide the best education we possibly can for the pupils throughout their time here.
Year 1 went to the Transport Museum and learnt lots to support their topic this half-term. They all were extremely enthusiastic before they went and looked equally as happy on their return.
Year 6 travelled to Pleasurewood Hills and cunningly I think a plan was hatched by the pupils to see how many rides they could get me on. We practically had the park to ourselves, which was brilliant. A particular highlight was Mrs. Duffield getting a nice smacker from a sealion. This was a reward trip to celebrate all their hard work, good behaviour and effort they have shown all year. You deserved it guys!
The Daddy Cake afternoon went well and raised several pounds for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Thank you for your support.
I would like to have the University booklets in Monday ready for graduation. So you still have one weekend to collect signatures or stamps.
Enjoy the sunshine and have a wonderful weekend.
