Kingfishers - Heads for the Day

In this section...

Week ends with new school leaders!

Today, our Kingfisher House Captains became Headteachers for the day and did a marvellous job. Thank you to them. As part of their tasks, they visited all classes to look at pupil engagement and the level of activity in lessons. I am pleased to be informed that they were happy with what they saw. They have also been thrilled by the fact they have got the chance to spend some money on new hockey balls.

The Years 3 and 4 performance rehearsals are in full swing. The children sound amazing. Tickets will be available next week.

Attendance winners were Years 3 and 6...just...as they were both at the County threshold of 96%. Disappointingly, all other classes were below the threshold and things must improve moving forward or the school attendance average will suffer.

Thank you to all parents who came in for the Year 2 KS1 SATS meeting on Thursday. Do not panic if you did not see the date on the Spring Events' timetable or my blog from last week, Miss. Everett will attach the powerpoint to her blog this week.

Good luck to our Boys' and Girls' Football Teams, who have many fixtures coming up over the next couple of weeks.

As a reminder, please ensure you have returned your Eucharist permission slips by the end of next week.

Next week, we have some Cricket enrichment sessions and we have on Friday our non-uniform day for Easter Egg donations. Hopefully, we get many once again this year.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
