The Summer term begins with fun in the sun!

This four-day week has seen a brilliant return to form by the pupils and I am pleased that a two week break has not hindered their progress nor efforts.

I was pleased to see so many children signing up once again for the clubs we have available; some for the very first time and others branching out to try something different. There are, once again, many things for pupils to engage in that enable them to develop new skills and talents.

Attendance was jointly won by Years 1, 2 and 4 with 100% each. Well done to all of these pupils. Sadly, Reception and Year 6 (at a crucial time) have fallen below 96%. Hopefully, this can improve over the coming weeks.  Hawkers also won the House Team Points for this week, and have taken a strong lead as we enter the final term in the race.

Next week, we have the class and leavers' photographs being taken and the Generations' Project trip to the Norfolk Children's Book Centre to spend their accumulated funds on new, high quality books. On Wednesday, we welcome our new Nursery parents to an open evening. On Friday afternoon, there is also a meeting for Year 4 parents whose children are off to Kingswood soon for their residential.

Hopefully the good weather will last over the weekend for us. Enjoy it everyone!
