Children make the most of the sunshine!

In this section...

Sun shines on Homefield - at last!

The weather has been very kind to us this week and due to this the children have made the most of having fun in the sun.

Reception continued with their green-fingered efforts in the allotment area and planted some peas and corn. As you can see from the picture, the Year 6 children took their learning about Hinduism outside and created some vibrant Rangoli patterns in chalk.

On Tuesday, the Year 6 pupils went to Gorleston beach for their re-arranged reward trip. It was a highly eventful trip, starting off with a dash to the petrol station averting a breakdown, much to the amusement of the Year 6 pupils. Thank you for the forecourt ovation. It was great to see the children enjoying the sand and playing team games with one another.

Wednesday saw several pupils attend the Midweek movie afternoon. Wreck-it Ralph and Smallfoot proved very popular choices. Thanks must go to the PTA for organising this.

This week's attendance was won by Year 5 with 99%. This week's House Team Point race was won by Hawkers. Well done to all winners.

It is half-term next week, so please enjoy it. Remember we return on Monday 3rd June and enter the final half-term of the academic year.

Enjoy the break everyone!
