SIAMS Preparations in full swing

This week I received a telephone call from the SIAMS Inspector regarding our inspection, which is to take place next Tuesday 5th November 2019. The school is prepared and I know our wonderful pupils and staff will show how impeccable they are. As with Ofsted last year, we will all pull together to achieve a successful outcome. The Inspector will be wishing to speak to Governors and parents over the course of the day to ask them about the school's Christian Vision of Family and Friendship and how this impacts upon their lives and the lives of their children.

Attendance was won this week by Year 4 with 100%. Well done to this class. Both Year 6 and Year 2 were below the 96% threshold. Hawkers won the House Team Points, pulling further ahead. Well done Hawkers.

I wish the Girls' Football Team all the luck for their first competitive outing in the tournament at Woodlands tomorrow. I have no doubt they will represent the school proudly.

Cross-Country practice is in full swing for our up and coming competition. It is great to see 40 pupils pushing themselves to succeed at lunchtime with Miss. Studley.

Next week in addition to SIAMS, we have our Disney Day for EYFS and fundraising for Anna Poppy on Wednesday and on Friday, we have the individual and sibling photographs.

Have a restful weekend everyone and remember to show the importance of Family and Friendship to one another.
