Bible Stories retold by our Open the Book members

Can we escape these horrendous storms and the awful weather they bring? This week has been our assessment week, so all classes have been busily pitting their wits against reading, grammar, spelling and mathematics questions. I am sure they all did their best and I look forward to seeing their attainment and the progress they have made since the last round.

Today, Open the Book returned to share another Bible story with the rest of the school. Thank you to Helen and her fellow cast members.

Year 2 and Reception enjoyed some road safety sessions on Thursday to ensure our pupils always remain safe when by the roadside.

Attendance was won by Year 3 with 99.35%. Sadly, Year 2 were the only class below the 96% threshold. Kingfishers won the House Team Points race also. Well done to all winners.

Can I encourage more parents to join our PTA to enable the future of fundraising schemes to be continued. A flyer is coming round today to gauge your interest. Please consider it.

Next week on Wednesday 4th March, we have the PTA Bingo Night and during the day the next phase of the Cross-Country at Holkham Hall for our seven budding runners.

Have a great weekend everyone!
