Just a little message to say hello before I get to see you all on Monday!
Hello! I do hope you are all well and have had a great summer! I can't wait to hear all you have to tell me and I'm sure you're looking forward to being all together again as much as I am!
I wanted to show you what our classroom will look like and tell you a few things about our day so you know a little bit about what to expect on Monday.
All the tables in all the classrooms have been moved into rows that face the front to keep you safe which means we won't be having a carpet area this year! How grown up! I have already spoken to your Year 1 teachers about how lovely you all are and who you are friends with so I have made sure you are all sitting around people I hope you will feel happy to spend your learning time with. I have put your names on the tables so you can find where you are sitting when you come in. Here are some pictures below.
Below is a photo of our sink area. As you can see it's nice and big to keep us safe as we all need to wash our hands. It's also where your drawers are so there's lots of room to move around safely. In your drawers you will find a bag full of your old books and work from last year. Please remember to take this home with you! You will also find your own pencil, colouring pencils, rubber, ruler, white board pen, white board, white board rubber and glue stick so you have all the equipment you may need ready for you to use!
In Reception and Year 1, you had toilets in the classroom. Year 2 and Year 3 use the toilets in the narrow corridor, just outside the classroom. Only one boy and one girl can go at a time and I can't wait to show you the cool way you can find out if the toilet is free or not on Monday!
All you need to bring with you on Monday is your coat, lunch (if you're having a home packed lunch), water bottle, change of shoes and a big smile! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and having lots of fun as we ease back into our learning next week. If you ever need anything, please ask or email me!
Have a great weekend!
