Oh no it isn't!
This week we were very lucky to enjoy our annual pantomime visit to school. Some may say, that they were even luckier to have myself and Mr Young pulled up onto stage to dance to Baby Shark and Gangnam Style!
In English this week the children have worked in teams to invent their own chocolate bars and they are working towards creating posters to persuade people to buy them. We have everything from a Banana Blast that gives you energy to a Relaxy Galaxy to help you unwind and relax. The children certainly have great imaginations and ideas! I cannot wait to see the finished posters.
In maths we are coming to the end of our first block of multiplication and division. Children are now becoming much more secure with this. In our topic lessons we have completed our computing unit and next week we will be starting a three week block of science. The first being animals including humans and then plants.
A homework sheet has been given to children today to help reinforce their knowledge of the 3, 4 and 8 times tables. There are a few links below to some rather catchy times table songs, it is great to hear that so many of the children have already been playing them at home. We still have Times Tables Rockstars please speak to us if your child needs new login details.
A letter for our trip has now been handed out and we have discussed this with the children. The children have also been told about our upcoming swimming lessons. Please do speak to us if you have any queries regarding swimming lessons.
Have a lovely weekend
Miss Clark :)
