Programmers and Performers!

It has been another fun filled and hard working week in Year 3. With the real highlight being our musical theatre enrichment on Wednesday. Here we are performing a song from Matilda.

This week we started our new English unit. We are writing adventure narratives and we are using a video called Spy Fox as inspiration. In Maths we have worked on multiplying a 2 digit number by a 1 digit number and dividing a 2 digit number by a 1 digit number. Our topic this week has been computing. We have used Scratch and the Beebot app to help develop our programming skills.

Next week we will start our UK topic. We will be focusing on cities and counties in England. As a homework challenge over the weekend, perhaps make a poster or leaflet or a piece of writing about somewhere in England you have visited or would like to visit.

Reminders

Monday will be our first outdoor learning session with Mr Earle. Please can children bring suitable outdoor footwear and warm trousers with them.

Have a lovely weekend :)
