A Special Visitor

We had an exciting visitor this week in class. On Thursday a bird came to see us. It was a little nervous and didn't quite know how to get out, but thankfully Mr Young saved the day and the bird was soon flying free outside.

It has been a rather warm week in class, but despite the heat we have all worked really hard. We have been having great fun in Music with the chime bars, and we will be moving on to body percussion next week.

This week's homework challenge is based around the Euros. Each child picked a country and as their homework challenge need to find out about it. This can be presented as a video, poster, leaflet or in any way you wish. If the work is on a computer/tablet please email it to me.

Here are a couple of links to some fun Maths and Spelling games to support our learning.

We had 14 Super Readers this week. Please try and read lots next week as we would love to achieve our target of 20. Remember reading the blog counts as a read so don't forget to pop it in your Reading Journal.

The secret word for this week is chime bar.

Have a fun weekend!
